The SIR-M is designed for a maximum of two cavities and is a low-budget alternative for our multi-functional high speed SIR.
Function
The SIR-M picks up the labels for the In-Mould Labelling (IML) process, places the labels in the mould and takes out the finished products from the mould. Next the SIR-M will leave the mould, the mould closes and, while the injection moulding machine injects another load of plastic into the mould, the SIR-M drops the finished products and picks up a new set of labels.
The purpose of the SIR-M is to feed and position labels into the mould and to take out finished products. The SIR-M is suited for moulds with a maximum of two cavities.
